I Remember Linda, by Vicki Joiner

I remember Linda. There she is, engraved in my youth. Her warmth, her smile, her twinkling eyes, her quick wit, and her marvelous ability to dance. To this day, the moment I hear "Runaway Sue" on the radio, I am immediately flooded by memories of Linda, her sparkle and liveliness, moving wonderfully over the dance floor. She was a wonderful dancer, and few could equal her, one who came close was her friend, Millie Ito.

I remember Linda. I always thought that I would see her again. She was so young, and too soon gone.
