Chip and I have been married forever! I think it's 36 years. Where has the time gone? And we are only 39???

I have been a teacher at Guerneville School for 34 years. I taught 8th grade, 4th grade and now Kindergarten for the last 9 years. I am fortunate to be able to take part in the Ca. Reduced Workload program (Willie Brown) and I only teach Mon., Tues., and Wed. now. I can pay into my full retirement so I get a full year's credit toward retirement. (I should have done this 30 years ago!!) I love all of my little ones and I will probably continue with this for a couple more years.

Our 2 children are grown and married. Our son, Lou, married a Sebastopol girl, Diana Cabrall. They have our first granddaughter, Emma (3), and are expecting our first grandson, Lucas, Dec. 8, or there abouts. Lou owns the Bodega Bay Dive Shop and is a full time fire fighter in Bodega Bay. He also volunteers at the Sebastopol firehouse. Diana teaches first grade in Santa Rosa.
Our daughter, Kate, married Michael Thompson, a former Dallas Cowboy. (A big problem for a loyal 49er family!) We love him to death, even if he played for the enemy. They have our grand dog, Buster, and are working on starting a family! Michael is the compliance manager for Bear Sterns Brokerage Firm in LA. Kate teaches high school in Oak Park.

We love to travel and we have started a small travel agency for friends and family to keep us busy in our retirement years. We make enough to pay for our licenses and take a few trips. Give us a call if you ever want us to look into a trip for you.

We still live in Sebastopol off of Ragle Road. Family, football and traveling ..that's our life!
